Everybody hates Donnie.
And those who know him best like him least.

A world-class, self-centered creep, Donald Trump is a pathetic loner who has no real friends. Even Richard Nixon, weird as he was, had Florida banker Charles “Bebe” Rebozo as his best buddy and confidant. But Trump only values people to the extent he can exploit them for his own purposes. Once they stop being useful to him, under the bus they go.
One such mass transit casualty, Anthony Scaramucci, who worked in Trump’s first maladministration for nine months but knew him for two decades before that, said this of his former boss: “Nobody’s friends with Trump. Nobody likes Trump.” Why? “He doesn’t think of you as a person. You’re just an object in the guy’s field of vision.”
In fact, no one who knows Trump well or ever worked for him has a kind word to say about him. Only those whose jobs currently depend on staying in his good graces pretend to admire him. In public, anyway. But talk to Trump’s associates, past or present, and you’ll soon learn their true opinions of him:
• Former chief of staff General John Kelly - “He’s the most flawed person I know. The depths of his dishonesty are astounding.”
• Current Vice President JD Vance - “I can’t stomach Trump. [He] is unfit for our nation’s highest office. I never liked him.”
• US Senator Lindsey Graham - “He’s a race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot.”
• US Senator Rafael “Ted” Cruz - “This man is a pathological liar. He lies practically every word that comes out of his mouth.”
• Former Faux News propagandist Tucker Carlson - “I hate him passionately.”
• Former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley - “Trump is now the most dangerous person to this country. A fascist to the core.”
• Trump’s second Secretary of Defense, Mark Esper - “I think he’s unfit for office...He puts himself before country.”
• Trump’s third national security advisor, John Bolton - “I believe [foreign leaders] think he is a laughing fool.”
Apparently, Trump’s only genuine friend was sexual predator and child trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, who claimed, “I was Donald’s closest friend for 10 years.” But even Epstein didn’t have much good to say about his fellow-child rapist: “He’s a horrible human being. He does nasty things to his best friends, best friends’ wives, anyone who he first tries to gain their trust and uses it to do bad things to them.”
It’s easy to see why no one really likes Donald Trump and why he’s devoid of friends — To know him is to loathe him.

Sad but true.
And yet, there are around 35% of our population who have been sucked into believing him to be the risen Christ. That's ever sadder.
